Treverbyn Parish Council are looking for an enthusiastic, engaged and passionate member of the community to stand as a co-opted Parish Councillor. Do you want to make a difference? Have new ideas? Have concerns about the community? Becoming a Parish Councillor might just be for you!
The work of a voluntary Councillor is exciting and rewarding, expressing your democratic voice in making decisions on local community issues, services and projects.
Full Council meetings are normally held on the second and last Tuesday of each month. A prospective Councillor should be able to commit to attending most Full Council meetings in order to fully represent the community. Prior experience in local government or politics is not essential.
